Samcheok ist eine Stadt in der Provinz Gangwon. Die an der OstkΓΌste SΓΌdkoreas gelegene Stadt ist vor allem durch ihre KalksteinhΓΆhlen bekannt, von denen die HΓΆhle Hwanseongul die grâßte ihrer Art in Korea ist. 1,6 Kilometer der insgesamt 6,4 km langen HΓΆhle wurden 1997 der Γ–ffentlichkeit zugΓ€nglich gemacht.
